You'll hop for joy when you see how easy it is to make a bunny-shaped pizza for family night. It's a classic cheese pizza, dressed up as a fun springtime treat. How cute!

Cornmeal for dusting
1 pound prepared whole-wheat pizza dough, at room temperature
½ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
1?½ cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
2 Kalamata olives, pitted
4 cherry tomatoes, halved
1 slice shiitake mushroom
6 thin strips green bell pepper

Steps:

  • Place pizza stone in oven and preheat to 475 degrees F. (Keep the stone in the oven while it is heating, and for an additional 10 minutes while preparing pizza).
  • Lightly dust a work surface with cornmeal. Roll pizza dough into a 14-by-10-inch oval. Transfer to a sheet of parchment paper. Stretch the top of the dough with your hands and, using kitchen shears, make a 3-inch cut straight down the center of the stretched top (these will be the ears). Twist each piece toward the outside and gently press to form ears.
  • Carefully transfer the pizza (on parchment) to the hot stone. Bake until puffed and lightly crisped on the bottom, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
  • Spread sauce all over the crust and sprinkle with cheese. Place olives in the center of the pie to make eyes. Place tomatoes on the ears and use one for the nose. Use mushroom slice for a mouth and add pepper strips to make whiskers. Bake until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden, 8 to 10 minutes. Serve warm.

The kids will hop for joy when you serve these charming rabbits, with pepperoni and cheese wrapped inside Pillsbury™ pizza crust.

1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust
4 teaspoons pizza sauce
20 mini pepperoni slices
2 slices American cheese
1 egg
3 olives, thinly sliced into 3 equal slices
12 matchstick-cut carrots

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Unroll pizza crust on work surface. Press into 11x16-inch rectangle. Use 5-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut 6 heart shapes (discard remaining dough). Place 2 hearts on ungreased cookie sheet. Spread pizza sauce to within 1/2 inch of edge; top with pepperoni and half a slice of cheese on crust. Place a second heart shape over the pizza filling on each. Pinch edges to seal. Cut each of the remaining 2 hearts in half to make the bunny ears. Place on cookie sheet and tuck pointed ends under the smaller end of the heart.
  • In small bowl, beat egg and 1 tablespoon water. Brush over crust. Bake 11 to 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
  • Meanwhile, cut remaining cheese to make bunny ears and nose. Place cheese decorations, olives and carrots on face. Serve immediately.
