This is a refreshing and light salad dressing. Very yummy!

2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup white sugar
1 cup white wine vinegar
4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, dry mustard, onion, garlic and sesame seeds. Mix together well and pour enough over salad to coat.

1/8 red wine vinegar
2 -3 garlic cloves (more if you want)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

water

Steps:

  • Combine first four ingredients with whisk. (We love garlic so we always use more.).
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add a few drops of water if necessary to reach desired taste and consistency.
