BAKED APPLE FRITTER RECIPES RECIPES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease bundt pan with butter or cooking spray.
• Peel, core and dice apples into 1/4-inch pieces. Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning, and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar.
• In a saute pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add apples and saute for 7-10 minutes, until soft. Cool slightly.
• Open biscuit tubes and cut each biscuit into four bite-sized pieces.
• In a small bowl, combine the rest of the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Mix.
• Gently drop dough pieces into bowl and cover with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
• Alternate layering diced apple and dough bites in the bundt pan.
• In a small saucepan, add 1 cup unsalted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture from the dough. Stir gently and bring to a boil. When sugar is dissolved, drizzle sauce over bundt pan.
• Bake for 30-35 minutes or until done. Allow bread to rest for approximately 5 minutes. Then invert onto a large plate. Drizzle with glaze (optional) and serve warm.
