1 Lb Frozen Mixed Vegetables1 Cup Chicken Broth 1 Tbs Butter2 Chicken Flavor Bouillon Cubes or Salt to taste1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder1/2 Tsp Onion Powder1/4 Tsp Dill Weed1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Place a skillet over high heat and add in the broth.2. After 2 minutes or once the broth comes to a boil, reduce the heat to medium-high heat(7).3. Add in the mixed vegetables, butter, seasonings, and bouillon cubes, then stir well.4. Cook the mixed vegetables for 8 to 10 minutes and stir periodically.

1 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons reduced-fat margarine
1-1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
4 cups cubed peeled potatoes
1 cup julienned carrots
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, saute celery, onion and garlic in margarine until tender. Add broth, potatoes, carrots and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. , Uncover and simmer for 5 minutes or until broth has thickened slightly, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with parsley; serve with a slotted spoon.
