1 pound Turkey ground
1 cup rice wild
1 clove garlic minced
salt for taste
pepper for taste
1 egg
4 buns hamburger bun whole wheat
Monterey Jack Cheese

Steps:

  • "1. Boil 4 cups of water in medium saucepan. Place the wild rice in the saucepan with the boiling water and cook for 30 minutes. 2. Preheat over to 375 degrees 3. Mince the garlic and saute in a lightly oiled fry pan over medium heat. 4. Combing the ground turkey, wild rice, sauteed garlic and egg in a large mixing bowl with salt and pepper to taste. Using mixture in in the mixing bowl, create 4 turkey patties. 5. Brown both sides of the patties on a cooking sheet and place in the oven for 10 minutes. 6. Slice the Monterey Jack cheese and place on patties. 7. Return patties to the over for 2 minutes along with the hamburger buns. 8. Place turkey burgers on buns and serve."

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix together turkey, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley, then season with salt and pepper. Form mixture into four flat patties.  In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add patties and cook until golden and cooked through, 5 minutes per side. Serve on a bun with desired toppings.
