2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1 (14-ounce) round prebaked Italian pizza crust
9 slices (3/4-ounce) Land O Lakes® Provolone Cheese cut into thin strips
1 cup skinned, boned, shredded deli rotisserie chicken
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450°F.
  • Melt Butter with Olive Oil in 1-quart saucepan over low heat; add garlic. Cook 5-6 minutes or until garlic is softened but not browned.
  • Place pizza crust onto large ungreased baking sheet. Spread garlic butter evenly over crust; sprinkle with half of cheese. Evenly spread chicken and parsley over crust. Top with remaining cheese. Bake 9-11 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.

Instead of the usual tomato sauce, make a white sauce for your pizza and top with shredded chicken and fresh oregano, chives, and parsley.

1 pound refrigerated fresh pizza dough
Cooking spray
1 tablespoon butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¾ cup 2% reduced-fat milk
½ cup (2 ounces) grated fresh pecorino Romano cheese
1 tablespoon yellow cornmeal
1?½ cups shredded boneless, skinless roasted chicken breast
¼ cup diced red onion
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°.
  • Place dough in a bowl coated with cooking spray; let dough stand, covered, for 15 minutes.
  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Add flour and pepper; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly with a whisk. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly with a whisk. Cook 3 minutes or until thick and bubbly, stirring constantly with a whisk. Remove from heat; add cheese, stirring until cheese melts.
  • Sprinkle a baking sheet with cornmeal; roll dough into a 12-inch circle on prepared baking sheet. Spread white sauce over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Top with chicken and onion. Bake at 450° on bottom oven rack for 17 minutes or until crust is golden. Sprinkle with herbs.

  • Place pizza stone in oven and preheat oven to 475-degrees. Spray parchment paper with cooking spray and lightly dust with cornmeal (optional.) Place dough on prepared parchment paper and flatten. Working from the middle to the outside, press and stretch the pizza dough into a 12-14 inch round. If it resists, just let it rest for 5-10 minutes and then work with it again. Transfer pizza crust and parchment paper to pizza stone. Bake for 5 minutes then remove crust from oven, leaving stone in oven. Spread white sauce evenly across crust, then top with the chicken, mushroom and broccoli mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over all. Return crust to oven. You should be able to do this without the parchment paper at this point. Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until crust is evenly browned and cheese is bubbly.
