1 package (16 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Ready to Bake!™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (24 Count)
4 oz (half 8-oz package) cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup hazelnut spread with cocoa
2 cups ready-to-spread cream cheese frosting or whipped topping
Fresh blueberries and strawberries

Steps:

  • Let cookie dough, cream cheese and eggs stand at room temperature 30 minutes to soften.
  • Meanwhile, heat oven to 350°F. Line 11x7-inch pan with cooking parchment paper.
  • Crumble cookie dough into large bowl. Add cream cheese, eggs and hazelnut spread. With whisk or rubber spatula, mix until well combined, no lumps remain and batter is smooth and creamy. Pour into pan.
  • Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake completely on cooling rack, about 45 minutes.
  • When cake is cool, spread frosting all top. Decorate with the fresh berries to resemble flag. Refrigerate cake at least 1 hour before serving. Store in refrigerator.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Decorating icing and/or colored sugars

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream the butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and extracts. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until easy to handle., On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with floured 2- to 3-in. cookie cutters. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugars as desired., Bake at 350° for 9-11 minutes or until set. Cool for 2 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely. Decorate with icing and additional sugars if desired.
