4 tsp Sesame oil
500 g Lean beef stir-fry strips
100 g Shiitake mushrooms stalks removed, sliced
2 tsp Fresh ginger finely grated
400 g Fresh mixed vegetables stir-fry variety
400 g Shelf fresh udon noodles
2 tbs Tamari, salt-reduced Japanese soy sauce
1 tbs Mirin seasoning

Steps:

  • Heat a wok over high heat. Add sesame oil and heat for 30 seconds. Stir-fry beef strips, in 2 batches, for 2-3 minutes or until browned. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Heat reaming oil in wok. Add mushrooms, ginger and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add stir-fry vegetables and 2 tbs water. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until vegetables are just tender. Add noodles, soy sauce, mirin and beef. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until heated through.
