CHAMPAGNE AND ST GERMAIN COCKTAIL - INSPIRED TASTE
St Germain liqueur is floral and sweet and is perfect with dry champagne. Since there are only two main ingredients, use a sparkling wine you love. Make sure it is dry, not sweet. If champagne is out of budget, look for “Cava,” which comes from Spain or an American sparkling wine that’s around $15. A dry Prosecco is a great option, too. One 750-ml bottle of champagne will serve 6 people.

- In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine the pomegranate juice and sugar. Bring to a boil and reduce by half to 1 cup. Takes about 30-35 minutes. Cool fully and transfer to a glass container to chill in the refrigerator. Store for up to 2 weeks. For the Cocktail: Fill a champagne flute with pomegranate arils, 1 ounce of pomegranate syrup, 1 1/2 ounces of St. Germain and top with champagne. Serve immediately.
