SINGLE SERVE RICE KRISPIE TREATS! {GLUTEN-FREE}
I’m pretty sure I have mentioned on more than one occasion what fans we are of Rice Krispie Treats in this house! When other cakes, cookies and treats have let us down, Rice Krispie Treats have been there for us….like a faithful, old friend. :-) As a matter of fact, whenever there is an occasion that involves a cake or other gluten-free goodie that my son Kell can’t eat, RKT’s are my go-to substitute.

Steps:
- Add the butter to a small bowl and melt in the microwave, then add four large marshmallows to the melted butter and return to the microwave. Microwave on high for approximately 15 seconds.
- Take the bowl out of the microwave (the marshmallows will deflate) and stir the melted butter and marshmallows together with a spoon until well-combined.
- Add the rice krispies and stir until all the cereal is coated in the sweet, sticky stuff.

INDIVIDUAL RICE KRISPIE TREAT (MICROWAVE) RECIPE - FOOD.COM
This is a classic treat, but it is usually made in a big batch. I came up with this individual version one day when I was scouring the pantry for something sweet. I guess you can pat it into a square if you REALLY want to be authentic, but that would probably be quite messy, time-consuming, and it's easier to just eat it right out of the bowl.

Steps:
- Put the marshmallows and the butter in a medium bowl, and microwave it for about 20 seconds on HIGH. The marshmallows will puff a lot.
- Take the bowl out of the microwave, and stir in the cereal, making sure it is all coated in marshmallow.
- Enjoy!
