Amazing Prosciutto Cups Appetizer Recipe with Goat Cheese ... image

The best goat cheese appetizer made with prosciutto cups. This party appetizer recipe is gluten free.

6 slices Prosciutto di Parma
3.5 ounces plain goat cheese at room temperature
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon minced chives

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Cut Prosciutto di Parma slices in half crosswise. Press a half slice of prosciutto into each cup of a mini-muffin pan. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, in a small bowl, combine goat cheese with milk and chopped chives until creamy.
  • Remove Prosciutto di Parma cups from the oven and let cool.
  • Pipe or spoon the goat cheese mousse into cooled Parma cups, filling each with about a tablespoon of mousse.

Prosciutto Cantaloupe Appetizer - Hy-Vee Recipes and Ideas image

Sweet and salty, refreshing and satisfying, it's no wonder that fresh melon and prosciutto is a classic Italian pair. But it gets better. Make a simple balsamic reduction to really impress your taste buds.

0.5 c. of balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp. of Hy-Vee honey
0.5 cantaloupe, seeded, removed from rind and cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes
1 (3 oz) pkg prosciutto, cut into small pieces
0 Basil leaves, as needed

Steps:

  • 1. In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened and is reduced, about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.
  • 2. Arrange cantaloupe cubes on a serving plate. Top each with a ribbon of prosciutto and a fresh basil leaf, then drizzle with balsamic reduction. Skewer with toothpicks.
