CREAMY POTATO STICKS RECIPE: HOW TO MAKE IT

Creamy Potato Sticks Recipe: How to Make It image

This homey potato side dish harks back to my ranch kitchen in Montana, where my husband and I raised four sons and a daughter. Hearty eaters, they always spooned up big servings of this casserole. Cutting the potatoes into sticks is a nice change. —Marie Hoyer, Hodgenville, Kentucky

SPICY POTATO STICKS | RECIPES | WW USA
It’s hard to believe these crisp oven-baked “fries” are totally fat-free. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these sticks are reminiscent of your favorite fried potatoes with loads more flavor. Egg whites adhere the spices and help the outer texture keep some snap, while the simple blend of cumin, salt, pepper and chili powder add a Tex-Mex flavor. If you are using a hot chili powder, omit the pepper so they are not too hot. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce as an easy snack or serve alongside your favorite burger. Ready in just 30 minutes, these potatoes also pair well with fish for a fun twist on the English favorite. Kids might eat more than their share so you may want to make a double batch.

BAKED POTATO STICKS RECIPE - FOOD.COM
Here's a great way to fix potatoes! Kids go crazy for them! I sometimes fix my hubby and I one large potato to share. Great thing is, I only eat 1 or 2 and leave the rest for him; that way I don't have as many fat calories. This recipe is from Chef Tom. I sometimes use bacon grease rather than the butter. Sooo good!
