Total Time 30 minutes

Prep Time 15 minutes

Cook Time 15 minutes

Yield 4

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 pounds russet potatoes ((or any amount))
water
several trays of ice cubes
avocado oil spray (for baking)
salt and seasoning of choice

Steps:

  • Scrub your potatoes, peel, rinse well, and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  • Fill a large bowl with cold water.
  • Cut the potatoes into 1/2-inch fry shapes. Place the cut potatoes in the bowl of cold water as you work.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. While the pot is heating up, fill a large bowl with cold water and ice.
  • Working in batches, blanch your fries by dropping them into the boiling water. Boil each batch for 2 to 5 minutes, or until the interiors are soft.
  • Remove the blanched fries and drop them into the ice water. Let cool for at least 15-minutes.
  • Remove and dry well with a clean kitchen towel.
  • Lay the blanched fries out in a single layer on a parchment lined sheet pan and flash freeze for about 1 hour.
  • Once frozen, place the frozen fries in a zipper bag, and store for up to 3 months in the freezer. Keep the fries frozen until you cook them.

AIR FRYER POTATO CHIPS + VIDEO - THE SLOW ROASTED ITALIAN

Air Fryer Potato Chips + Video - The Slow Roasted Italian image

Air fryer potato chips are a healthier version of your favorite salty snack! Enjoy perfectly crispy bites flavored with your favorite seasonings

Provided by Donna Elick

Total Time 35 minutes

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 25 minutes

Number Of Ingredients 9

8 cups water
1 tablespoon salt
2 large russet potatoes, sliced to ⅛ inch thick
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped
French onion dip
Chip dip, your favorite
Ketchup

Steps:

  • Pour water into large bowl, add the salt and stir until the salt is dissolved.
  • Thinly slice the potatoes to 1/8 inch thick. Using a mandolin slicer is highly recommended.
  • Soak the potatoes in the saltwater for 30 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 330°F for 5 minutes
  • Add potato slices to the large bowl and drizzle with olive oil and toss with clean hands until coated.
  • Layer the potatoes in the preheated air fryer.
  • Cook the potatoes at 330°F for 20-25 minutes or until desired browning. Make sure to shake the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Immediately season the potatoes with salt when done cooking.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
  • Drying - it’s easiest to line a large cookie sheet with paper towel and layer the potatoes between sheet of paper towels
  • Cooking potatoes that are close to the same size is best, if possible. And layering in a single layer takes a little longer, but they cook more evenly.

MCDONALD'S HAMBURGER - TOP SECRET RECIPES
Ronald McDonald is an international hero and celebrity. In Japan, since the "R" sound is not part of the Japanese language, everyone knows the burger-peddling clown as "Donald McDonald." And in Hong Kong, where people place a high value on family relationships, he is called Uncle McDonald, or in their language, "McDonald Suk Suk." These burgers were the original hallmark of the world's largest fast-food chain. In 1948, when brothers Dick and Mac McDonald opened their first drive-in restaurant in San Bernardino, California, it was this simple sandwich that had hundreds of people driving in from miles around to pick up a sackful for just 15 cents a burger. • Set a large plate upside down over pan. In one swift and confident motion, flip pan and plate to invert rösti onto plate. Set pan back over medium heat, add remaining 1 Tbsp. oil, and carefully slide in rösti, crispy side up. Using spatula, tuck edges into pan to create a neat disk. Cook until second side is golden brown, 5–7 minutes. Run spatula around edges of rösti and give pan a shake until you can feel rösti freely move around in pan. Carefully slide rösti onto a platter and top with more Parmesan and pepper. Slice into wedges to serve. Do ahead: Potatoes can be boiled 1 day ahead. Let cool; cover and chill. Rösti (without additional cheese) can be made 3 hours ahead; store uncovered at room temperature. Reheat in a 300° oven 10 minutes before serving.
