FRESH PEAR BREAD RECIPE: HOW TO MAKE IT

Steps:
- In a bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; stir into the egg mixture just until moistened. Toss pears with lemon juice. Stir pears and walnuts into batter (batter will be thick). , Spoon into 2 greased 9x5-in. loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.

SPICY PEAR COOKIES RECIPE | LAND O’LAKES
Steps:
- Heat oven to 375°F.
- Combine sugar, brown sugar, and 1/2 cup butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add 1/4 cup pear nectar and egg; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour, 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and baking soda. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in pear and pecans.
- For each pear cookie, drop 1 rounded teaspoon dough onto lightly greased cookie sheets; drop rounded 1/2 teaspoon dough next to, but not touching, teaspoon of dough. Press 1clove into smaller dough to resemble stem. Repeat with remaining dough, placing cookies 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 10-13 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
- Combine all frosting ingredients except pear nectar in small bowl. Beat at low speed, adding enough pear nectar for desired spreading consistency. Frost cooled cookies.
