1 pound fresh green beans, washed, trimmed
2 teaspoons freshly grated gingerroot
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup slivered almonds
2 teaspoons freshly grated orange zest

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450°F. Combine all ingredients except orange zest in large bowl; stir until well mixed.
  • Place into ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake 20-22 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, or until green beans are crisply tender. Sprinkle with orange zest; stir to combine.
  • Serve immediately.

6 garlic cloves, minced
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon peel
salt & freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Wash and trim green beans. Dry beans with paper towel. Place beans, scallions, garlic, olive oil, and salt and pepper in a shallow roasting pan and toss together with your hands. Roast in oven until beans are tender and browned. Toss with lemon peel and almonds and serve immediately.
