CARRABBA'S OLIVE OIL BREAD DIP RECIPE | TOP SECRET RECIPES
When you sit down for Italian-style grub at one of the more than 168 nationwide Carrabba's restaurants, you're first served a small plate with a little pile of herbs and spices in the middle to which the waiter adds olive oil. Now you're set up to dip your sliced bread in the freshly flavored oil. To craft a version of this Carrabba's olive oil bread dip recipe, you'll need a coffee bean grinder or a small food processor to finely chop the ingredients. - Roughly chop both black olives and pimiento-stuffed green olives. Slice green onions into thin pieces. Combine butter, mayonnaise, cheese, olives and green onions in a mixing bowl. Stir together until thoroughly combined. Spread mixture onto French bread that has been sliced lengthwise. Bake at 350ºF for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and browning.Mixture can also be refrigerated (up to two days) and used as a dip. Great with crackers.

- Slice the bread 1cm-thick, then toast on a barbecue or griddle pan.
- Rub each slice lightly with a cut clove of garlic, then drizzle with some good extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle lightly with a little sea salt and black pepper.
- Remove the cores from the tomatoes, carefully squeeze out the seeds, then place in a bowl.
- Tear in the basil leaves, season with salt and pepper, then toss with a good lug of oil and a good swig of vinegar, to balance the flavours.
- Serve the tomatoes either chunky or finely chopped, or you can scrunch them between your fingers before putting them on your bruschette – really tasty.
