Number Of Ingredients 8

8-10 pound(s) ham, fully cooked spiral-cut, bone-in
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup(s) dijon mustard
1 teaspoon(s) cloves, ground
1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon, ground
1 large orange, zest
1/4 cup(s) maple syrup
1/4 cup(s) bourbon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put a cup of water in the bottom section of a large broiler pan. Add rack and place ham, meat side down.
  • Combine ingredients 2-8. Mix well. Brush half of the mixture all over ham. Loosley cover ham with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes. Brush the remaining mixture all over ham and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes or until internal temperature is 160 degrees and the ham has caramelized.

Steps:

  • Preheat a dry skillet over a medium-high heat. Add the walnuts, maple syrup and salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until syrup is caramelized and nuts are toasted, about 3 minutes. Let cool.
