2 pounds ground Kobe beef (see Cook's Note)
2 large eggs 
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
Pink Himalayan salt and freshly ground black pepper 
1 tablespoon grapeseed oil 
Your favorite burger buns, for serving
Serving suggestions: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard

Steps:

  • Break up the beef in a large bowl. Add the eggs and mix well. Add the seasoning salt, 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt and 1 teaspoon pepper; mix well. Form the mixture into four patties.
  • Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and coat with the grapeseed oil. Place the patties in the pan and cook for about 6 minutes per side for medium-well, or 10 minutes per side for well done.
  • Serve on buns with your choice of toppings.

Season onions with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring regularly, until the onions are caramelized, about 30 minutes. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high. Shape Kobe beef into 6 patties; season with salt and pepper. Cook patties on hot grill to desired doneness, 3 to 5 minutes per side for medium. Serve burgers on toasted pretzel buns; top each with 2 to 3 tablespoons caramelized onion and one slice goat cheese.
