ZERO Carb Chicken Crust Pizza Recipe - KetoConnect image

This entire chicken pizza crust clocks in at under 1g of TOTAL CARBS! It goes great with a high fat pesto sauce for a fun keto dinner.

Number Of Ingredients 3

10 oz Canned Chicken
1 oz grated parmesan cheese
1 large Egg

Steps:

  • Thoroughly drain the canned chicken, getting as much moisture out as possible.
  • Spread chicken on a baking sheet lined with a silicon mat. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes to dry out the chicken.
  • Once chicken is done baking for 10 minutes remove and place in a mixing bowl. Increase heat of oven to 500 degrees.
  • Add cheese and egg to the bowl with chicken and mix.
  • Pour mixture onto baking sheet lined with a silicon mat and spread thin. Placing parchment paper on top and using a rolling pin makes this easier.
  • Optional: With a spatula press the edges of the crust in to for a ridge for the crust. This is beneficial is you're using topping that may slide off(i.e. eggs).
  • Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes at 500 degrees.
  • Remove crust from oven. Add desired toppings and bake for another 6-10 minutes at 500 degrees. Toppings will dictate final cook time.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Your life is now changed. Enjoy!

Try this amazing gluten-free, low-carb pizza base recipe made with cauliflower. It's easy and quick to make and will make your favourite pizza much healthier.

1 large head (about 1kg) cauliflower, trimmed, cut in florets
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon dried oregano
⅓ cup finely grated parmesan cheese
spray oil

Steps:

  • 1 Place cauliflower florets in a food processor or blender in 2–3 batches. Blend florets until finely chopped, retaining some texture.
  • 2 Transfer cauliflower to a microwave-safe bowl and cover. Microwave on high for 8 minutes or until just tender. Drain well and leave to cool completely.
  • 3 Preheat oven to 200°C. Line 2 pizza trays with baking paper. Place all ingredients, except oil spray, in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  • 4 Press cauliflower mixture on trays in 2 x 22cm rounds, each about 3-4mm thick. Spray with oil. Cook for 15 minutes or until edges turn golden.

PIZZA HUT PAN PIZZA COPYCAT RECIPE | TOP SECRET RECIPES
The secret to perfect pan pizza is pressing the dough into a well-oiled pan (Pizza Hut uses soybean oil), then the pan is covered and the dough rises in a heated cabinet for 45 to 60 minutes. When the dough is topped, the edge is sprayed with a butter-flavored “food release” and the pie is baked at 500 degrees F until perfectly browned on top. You can use a 9-inch, 12-inch, or 15-inch deep dish pizza pan or cake pan for this recipe, and you’ll want to preheat your oven with a pizza stone in it to simulate the type of oven used at the chain. The hot ceramic surface of the pizza stone will cause the oil in the pan to cook the bottom of the dough so that it’s brown and crispy like an authentic pan pizza crust should be. I tried making the dough with cake flour, all-purpose flour, superfine “00” flour, bread flour and many combinations of these different flours which all contain varying amounts of gluten. I even tried rising the dough slowly in the refrigerator for various lengths of time as long as up to four days. But after a month of testing and about 30 pan pizzas later, I found the best dough to be straight bread flour, and to let the dough rise at room temperature.
