Ingredients

Steps:

preheat oven to 170C
mash bananas and combine with the sugar
add the other ingredients and mix well
or even easier place everthing in a food processor and whizz until mixed well.
pour into tin lined with baking parchment, ( I use a loaf tin)
bake for approx 45 mins until firm to the touch
cool in the tin for approx 10 mins before transfering to cooling tray

Add all ingredients and blend until well mixed
Pour into lined loaf tin
Bake for 1 hour
Cool and enjoy
If you are a nut lover, once ingredients are blended add 60g chopped walnuts and blend in to the mixture

To make the batter, put all the ingredients in a large bowl with 1/4 tsp salt. Use an electric mixer to beat together on a low speed until the batter is smooth and evenly mixed. Pour the batter on top of the bananas and level out with a spatula. Bake in the oven for 55 mins-1 hr or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. If the cake begins to look too dark, cover with foil after 45 mins. Allow to cool in the tin for 10 mins before turning out onto a plate. Best served warm but also delicious at room temperature. Best eaten within 2 days.

Pre-heat the oven. Rub some of the butter around the inside of a 1kg/2lb loaf tin or insert a baking liner. Chop the butter into small cubes. Put the butter cubes and sugar into a mixing bowl and beat until pale and creamy. Beat in the vanilla extract. Break the eggs into the bowl, one a time, beating well between each. Add half the flour to the bowl and beat well. Mash the bananas, add these to the bowl and beat again. Add the remaining flour to the bowl and mix it in. Tip the mixture into the prepared tin and smooth the top. Bake for 55–60 minutes. Leave the cake to cool in the tin for 20 minutes then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool.
