EASY BROOKIES {WITH BROWNIE MIX} - CAKEWHIZ
Soft and chewy, quick and easy brookies recipe, homemade with simple ingredients. Made up of 2 layers: brownies and chocolate chip cookies.

Steps:
- Prepare brownie batter, according to box instructions.
- Spread batter evenly in a 9 inch square pan, lined with aluminum foil and sprayed with oil.
- For the cookie layer, you have 2 options:Option 1: Roll out the cookie dough between 2 sheets of wax paper. It should be approximately the same size as your pan. Gently place the cookie dough layer on top of the brownie layer. Don't press it down.Option 2: Instead of rolling out the dough, scoop out spoonfuls of the cookie dough and flatten it with your hands and piece it together on top of the brownie batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until top is golden brown and an inserted toothpick in the center comes out with a few sticky crumbs.
- Allow it to cool down completely.
- Then, use a sharp knife to cut slices. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil. Spray with cooking spray.
- In medium bowl, stir Cookie Layer ingredients until soft dough forms. Press mixture evenly in bottom of pan.
- In medium bowl, stir Brownie Layer ingredients until well blended. Spread on top of cookie layer in pan.
- Bake 33 to 38 minutes or until brownies are set around edges and toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack, about 1 hour. Remove from pan; pull away foil. Cut into 5 rows by 4 rows.
