BOILED WONTON RECIPE - SIMPLE CHINESE FOOD



Boiled wonton recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

Number Of Ingredients 11

400 grams pork
300 grams Dough
Right amount salt
Right amount MSG
Right amount shallot
Right amount ginger
Right amount Soy sauce
Right amount pepper
1 piece egg
Right amount Blending oil
Right amount Yam

Steps:

  • Chop the pork.
  • The yam was smashed with a knife.
  • Chop the green onions and ginger.
  • Put dark soy sauce in the meat, mix well and color.
  • Put green onions, ginger, salt, yam, eggs, pepper, oil, and MSG into the meat.
  • Stir evenly with chopsticks and set aside.
  • Prepare the dough.
  • Fill the middle of the dough.
  • Fold the dough diagonally in half.
  • Glue the two ends of the dough together and pinch it tightly.
  • Pack it for later use.
  • Put water in the pot, bring to a boil, add the wontons and cook until the wontons float and cook for another minute.

2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, minced
1 egg
1 green onion, minced
1?½ tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Asian (toasted) sesame oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
¼ teaspoon salt
50 wonton wrappers
2 cups cold water

Steps:

  • Mix chicken, egg, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, vegetable oil, and salt in a large bowl until evenly combined.
  • Scoop about 1 teaspoon chicken mixture and place into the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten 2 adjacent edges of the wrapper with water and fold into a triangle. Connect the two lower points of the wrapper and moisten to seal and make a hat shape. Repeat with remaining chicken and wonton wrappers.
  • Bring a large pot of water to boil. Stir wontons into boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold water and allow water to return to a boil. Repeat boiling with another 1/2 cup cold water. Wontons are ready when chicken is no longer pink in the center, about 5 minutes. Drain.

Once frozen for an hour, you can cook them or transfer them to an airtight container and freeze until you are ready to use. For the chili sauce: In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce and chili sauce and set aside. Bring a wok halfway full with water to a boil, and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook the wontons in batches until they float to the surface, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon. Garnish with the chives and serve immediately with the chili dipping sauce.;
