BLACK AND BLUE DRINK RECIPES

Steps:

• Divide fresh fruit between 4 large canning jars. Pour vodka over fruit and, using a long wooden spoon, mash the fruit. Let vodka infuse overnight until it turns a deep purple.
• Strain vodka to remove fruit particles, saving the fruit for garnish if desired. Mix frozen fruit with sugar in a bowl and thaw.
• Add frozen fruit to bottom of cocktail glasses or small canning jars, then pour vodka over the fruit. Garnish with liquored fruit and lemon slices. Add ice and serve!

Steps:

• Rim the edge of glass (or just one side as shown here) with lime juice, and dunk in black salt for a spooky cocktail!
• In a separate container, muddle the berries, mint, lime, honey and vodka together.
• In the serving glass, layer spoonfuls of the muddled berries with ice cubes, pour in all the liquid, then top off with ginger beer.
• Using a cocktail pick, skewer extra berries and mint leaves and place in glass.
• Add dry ice if desired for the smoky effect!
