- Place eggs in a large pot and cover by an inch of cold water. Place pot on stove and bring to a boil. Instantly turn off heat and cover pot. Let sit for 11 minutes.
- Remove from pan and transfer to ice water. Let cool 2 minutes before peeling and serving.

- Take around to 6 eggs in the bottom of a microwave-safe bowl.
- Add to the eggs with some water to a height of 1/2 inch above the eggs.
- Now put a 1/2 teaspoon of salt for each egg and calculate accordingly to the number of eggs
- Microwave for 4 minutes for 2 eggs, 5 minutes for 4 eggs, and 6 minutes for 6 eggs
- Fill another bowl with ice and water or cold water.
- To get soft boiled eggs with runny egg yolks, take out the eggs from the water and immerse them in ice-cold water
- To make hard-boiled eggs, let them in hot water for more than 2-3 minutes. If you want to have just slightly creamy eggs, keep it for 2 minutes, and for firm egg yolks, keep it for 3 minutes
