The customs of the New Year are different from place to place, but the good wishes are the same. The custom here is to embed some deep-fried buns during the Chinese New Year, and there are meat fillings and vegetarian fillings. The vegetarian ones are used to invite bodhisattvas, and the meat ones are used to worship the ancestors. Then people eat it all by themselves. Many people have simplified it now, but my family still adheres to this custom. Of course what I did this time was not for that purpose. As the end of the year ends, there is less time to take photos of the process and make recipes. Therefore, this time is just a common home cooking. The stuffing is vegetarian and Tibetan meat, but the meat is just for the sake of freshness. The meat and meat are more vegetarian. The big fish and meat that are eaten during the Chinese New Year, this fresh vegetable fried bun is very popular.

6 pieces Xianggan
1 piece Winter bamboo shoots
Half root carrot
Right amount vegetables
Right amount pork
Right amount Baby dishes
Right amount oil
Right amount salt
10 Fried bun

Steps:

  • Ingredients map
  • First chop the baby cabbage and put it in a basin, add a teaspoon of salt to marinate the water
  • Shred the dried fragrant first and then dice
  • Wild lamb's tail bamboo shoots, winter bamboo shoots, carrots and refined meat are all shredded first and then dice, following the eight characters "cut finely, chop coarsely"
  • Hot pan oil
  • Pour the dices of ingredients and stir fry
  • Add the chopped baby cabbage
  • Fry until the color changes, add salt to taste (add seasoning according to personal preference), turn off the heat
  • Open a small mouth of the deep-fried bag, and use a small teaspoon to fill in the fried diced powder.
  • Fill it all up, add water to the pot and cook
  • It's almost time, put a few greens to boil, put it out of the pot and put it in a bowl.

I created this recipe from looking at a few different ones online and choosing my favorite aspects of each. This is vegetarian but there are many bibimbap recipes with beef or chicken marinades, if you want to add beef or chicken to this dish.

2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 cup carrot matchsticks
1 cup zucchini matchsticks
½ (14 ounce) can bean sprouts, drained
6 ounces canned bamboo shoots, drained
1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
? teaspoon salt to taste
2 cups cooked and cooled rice
? cup sliced green onions
2 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon butter
3 eggs
3 teaspoons sweet red chili sauce, or to taste

Steps:

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat; cook and stir carrot and zucchini in the hot oil until vegetables begin to soften, about 5 minutes. Stir in bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and mushrooms. Cook and stir until carrots are tender, about 5 more minutes. Season to taste with salt and set vegetables aside.
  • Stir cooked rice, green onions, soy sauce, and black pepper in the same skillet until the rice is hot. In a separate skillet over medium heat, melt butter and gently fry eggs, turning once, until the yolks are still slightly runny but the egg whites are firm, about 3 minutes per egg.
  • To serve, divide hot cooked rice mixture between 3 serving bowls and top each bowl with 1/3 of the vegetable mixture and a fried egg. Serve sweet red chili sauce on the side for mixing into bibimbap.
