1 1/2 ounces Calvados
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
1 maraschino cherry

Steps:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the Calvados, lemon juice and maple syrup and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the cherry.

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
2 cups chopped apples
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons melted butter

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Add dry ingredients to the first mixture alternately with 1 cup sour cream.
Stir in chopped apples.
Spread evenly in greased pan.
Mix together ingredients for nut topping.
Sprinkle over batter.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
