Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
- Chop the Apple Pie Filling (1 1/2 cup) using a knife or a food processor if you have one.
- Unroll the Pie Crust (2) and spread the apple pie filling onto one of them, leaving a 1/8-inch border around the edge. Then cover with the other crust and press the sides together to secure.
- Make an egg wash by mixing the Egg (1) with a splash of water.
- Brush some egg wash on top of the crust and sprinkle the Sparkling Sugar (to taste) to mimic the look of salty fries. Cut strips about 1/2-inch thick and cut those into fry shapes.
- Place them carefully on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until they're golden and firm.
- Serve with Caramel Sauce (1 cup) as a sweet 'ketchup' for dipping!

Steps:
- Combine 2 cups flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt in medium bowl. Cut in butter and cream cheese with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in 1 teaspoon vinegar and enough cold water with fork just until flour is moistened.
- Divide dough in half. Press each into 6x4-inch rectangle. Wrap in plastic food wrap; refrigerate.
- Melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until sizzling. Add apples; cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Add sugar; cook 3 minutes or until apples begin to soften. Add 1 tablespoon flour, 3/4 teaspoon apple pie spice and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Cook 2 minutes or until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 teaspoon vinegar. Cover filling; refrigerate 1 hour or until chilled through.
- Place filling into food processor bowl fitted with metal blade. Process until pieces are pea-sized.
- Stir 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon apple pie spice together in small bowl until well mixed. Set aside.
- Heat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Whisk egg white and 1 teaspoon water together in small bowl. Set aside.
- Roll out one piece of dough onto lightly floured surface to 12x16-inch rectangle. (Dough will be quite thin.) Repeat with second piece of dough. Spread filling evenly over 1 rectangle. Carefully top with second dough rectangle. Brush top with beaten egg white; sprinkle with topping.
- Cut dough into 1/2-inch strips (12 inches long) using fluted pastry cutter or pizza cutter. Cut each strip into 3 pieces, forming "fries." Place fries, 1-inch, apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 7-9 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature with caramel topping, if desired.
