12 ounce block of firm tofu (drained and cut into 3/4” cubes)
3 eggs
2 green onions (minced)
2 teaspoons white pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Crack the eggs in a bowl, add salt into it and mix well. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, and stir-fry tofu until both sides of the tofu become golden.
  • Pour egg liquid in the pan. When the egg liquid condenses, then sprinkle green onions and white pepper on the tofu.
  • Gently spread the whole tofu and egg, transfer it on a plate. Serve.

1 Egg
3 stalk Fresh Chives
to taste Salt and Pepper
1 package Tofu
to taste Corn Starch
to taste Frying Oil
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon Water
1 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Scallion
1 Thai Chili Pepper
3 sprig Fresh Cilantro
1 teaspoon Toasted White Sesame Seeds

Steps:

  • Crack an Egg (1) into a bowl, add Salt and Pepper (to taste) and Fresh Chives (3 stalk) and mix well.
  • Cut the Tofu (1 package) into 1cm thick, 4 cm wide slices. Coat the tofu in Corn Starch (to taste).
  • Dip the tofu into the egg mixture.
  • Pour Frying Oil (to taste) in pan and lay the slices in one by one. Fry until both sides of the tofu are golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, mix Sesame Oil (1 tablespoon), stock or Water (1 tablespoon), Light Soy Sauce (1 tablespoon), Scallion (1 tablespoon), Thai Chili Pepper (1), Fresh Cilantro (3 sprig) and Toasted White Sesame Seeds (1 teaspoon). Serve with fried tofu. Enjoy!
