1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped toasted pecans
1 cup toffee pieces

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • In a bowl, combine the first 3 ingredients; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter with the sugars for 2 minutes or until smooth.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla; beat well.
  • Add in the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  • Stir in the pecans and toffee.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto an ungreased cookie sheet (leave room for expansion).
  • Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  • Let cookies cool in pan for 5 minutes; then transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (12-ounce) package (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2/3 cup toffee bits

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar and sugar in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low; add flour, baking powder and salt. Beat until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips, pecans and toffee bits.
  • Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls, 2 inches apart, onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 11-16 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Let stand 2 minutes on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.
