Very kid-friendly, this is a classic tater tot casserole. With one pound of ground meat and a few other ingredients, you can easily feed a family. Switch up the veggies with what you prefer. We opted for ground beef, but ground turkey would be great too. The soup mixture adds a creaminess that mixes with the tater tots. A weeknight meal that's perfect for a busy parent. If there is any left at the end of the meal, it heats up well for leftovers the next day.

1 pound(s) ground beef or turkey, browned, seasoned & drained
2-3 cup(s) canned (drained) or frozen vegetable of choice: green beans, corn, peas or mixed vegetables (optional)
2 pound(s) frozen tater tots
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
1 1/2 cup(s) milk
8-12 ounce(s) cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

Spread meat into a 13x9 greased casserole dish.
At this point you can add a layer of your optional vegetable of choice.
Combine the soups and milk.
Cover vegetables with tater tots. Pour soup/milk sauce evenly over the tater tots.
Bake for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
Add the cheese and bake for 10-15 more minutes.

1 onion, diced
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. garlic powder
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 c. frozen cut green beans, thawed and drained
1 c. frozen corn, thawed and drained
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 (32-oz.) package tater tots, thawed

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook until soft, 5 minutes. Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and cook until meat is no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain any excess grease and pour mixture into a 9"-x-13" baking dish. Combine vegetables in an even layer on top, then cover with soup. Place a layer of tater tots on top. Bake until bubbly and the tots are a warm golden brown, 53 to 55 minutes.
