32 (3.5 inch square) wonton wrappers
1?½ tablespoons margarine, melted
3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Lay the wonton wrappers out flat on a baking sheet. Brush evenly with melted margarine. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon sugar over the top of each one.
  • Bake for 5 minutes in the preheated oven, or until crisp. Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.

½ cup butter, softened
½ cup sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Red and green decorator sugar crystals

Steps:

  • Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
  • Divide dough in half; wrap in waxed paper, and chill at least 2 hours. Roll half of dough to 1/4- inch thickness on a lightly floured surface; keep remaining dough chilled. Cut dough with a bell-shaped cookie cutter. Place on greased baking sheets; sprinkle with decorator sugar crystals.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Repeat procedure with remaining dough.
