EASY BEEF NOODLE STIR-FRY RECIPE - FOOD.COM
This is an easy recipe and a very tasty stir-fry dish that I have made many times. If you are not using low-sodium broth and soy sauce make certain to add in any salt (if you are using) at the end. To save time slice your beef and chop your veggies ahead of time and refrigerate.

Steps:
- Saute the beef with 1/2 tablespoon garlic and about 1/2 tablespoon fresh ginger in a wok or in a nonstick skillet (I prefer a wok for this) with about 1 tablespoon sesame oil for 4-5 minutes, until almost cooked through; transfer to a plate.
- In the wok with remaining 1 tablespoon sesame oil, saute remaining garlic and ginger with hot pepper flakes, sliced onion, mushrooms and sweet pepper for about 4 minutes (make certain that the wok is hot).
- In a small bowl whisk together broth, soy sauce and cornstarch.
- Add to the wok or skillet; cook stirring for 2 minutes.
- Add in snow peas, cooked noodles or rice sticks (if using) stir-fry over medium-low heat to thicken (about 4 minutes).
- Add in beef and baby corn; mix gently to combine, cover and let stand on the heat for 2 minutes.

Steps:
- Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Whisk the stir-fry sauce in a small bowl and place half in a large bowl, reserving the other half for later.
- Place the sirloin strips in the bowl with half of the marinade and toss well.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add avocado or canola oil to pan. Heat for 30-45 seconds before adding beef to the pan. Begin stir-frying beef for about 2 minutes to form a bit of a crust. Remove beef from pan and set aside.
- To the same pan, add the onions and saute another minute or two until they begin to caramelize. Place the reserved, cooked rice noodles to the pan, along with the remaining stir-fry sauce and reserved beef. (Be sure to include any juices that have collected!) Stir in the scallions right before serving.

1. Cut the steak into thin slices. Top and tail the snow peas and slice in half diagonally. Soak the noodles in a large bowl with enough boiling water to cover for 10 minutes.
2. Spray a large wok with oil spray and when very hot, cook the steak in batches until brown. Remove and keep warm.
3. Heat the peanut oil in the wok, and when very hot, stir-fry the onion, carrot and capsicum for 2–3 minutes, or until tender. Add the garlic, ginger, snow peas and shiitake mushrooms, and cook for another minute before returning the steak to the wok.
4. Separate the noodles with a fork, then drain. Add to the wok, tossing well. Combine the oyster sauce with the soy sauce, brown sugar, five-spice powder and 1 tablespoon water and pour over the noodles. Toss until warmed through, then serve.

- 1. Marinate the Beef: In a medium bowl, combine the garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, maple syrup and black pepper; add the beef and marinate for 20 minutes. 2. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. 3. Make the Stir-Fry: Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat until very hot, then add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add half the onion and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Add the steak, then let it sit for about 30 seconds before shaking it and stirring it, searing on both sides. Add the asparagus, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and a splash of water or broth, and stir-fry for about 2 minutes, or until the steak is cooked as you like it.
