Steps:
- Heat oven to 325°F.
- Cream butter and sugar in medium bowl until creamy. Add vanilla; beat until well mixed.
- Add flour, pecans and salt; beat at low speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until well mixed.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place, 1 inch apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 16-18 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; roll in powdered sugar while still warm and again when cool.

- Preheat oven to 325°. Line two baking sheets with parchment. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, cream together butter and ½ cup powdered sugar. Fold in flour, vanilla, nuts, salt, and water. Mold 1 tablespoon cookie dough around each chocolate Kiss and roll into a ball. Chill for 1 hour. Transfer to prepared baking sheets and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until cookies look dry and have not taken on any color. Cool cookies for 20 minutes, then roll in remaining 1 cup powdered sugar.

In a large bowl, cream butter, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and salt until light and fluffy. Beat in amaretto. Gradually beat in remaining flour and pine nut mixture., Shape dough into 1-in. balls; place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 6-8 minutes or until set.
