8 tbsp. unsalted butter (1 stick), room temperature
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

Gather all your ingredients.
Heat treat the flour to ensure it is safe to eat. Do not skip this step as untreated flour can contain contaminants and is not safe to eat. Place the flour in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high in 30 second intervals while stirring in between. Use an instant read thermometer to ensure that the flour reaches 165 degrees farenheit throughout.
In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla, cream, and salt. Mix to combine. Then add the heat treated flour and mix to incorporate.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Serve and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1-1/2 pounds dark chocolate candy coating, coarsely chopped

Steps:

In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Gradually add flour, alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. , Shape into 1-in. balls; place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Loosely cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until firm., In a microwave, melt candy coating; stir until smooth. Dip balls in coating; allow excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until firm, about 15 minutes. If desired, remelt remaining candy coating and drizzle over candies. Store in the refrigerator.
