Orange Sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
Cookie
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg
1 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries, chopped

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine all orange sugar ingredients in bowl; stir until well mixed. Set aside.
  • Combine 1 cup sugar and butter in large bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add egg and 1 teaspoon orange zest; mix until combined. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda; beat at low speed until well mixed. Add cranberries. Continue beating just until mixed.
  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll balls in orange sugar. Place, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with bottom of glass to 1 1/2-inch circles.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are very lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to cooling rack.

Bread
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
4 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons freshly grated orange zest
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups chopped walnuts
Orange Marmalade Butter
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
3 tablespoons orange marmalade

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 5 mini (5 3/4x3-inch) loaf pans. Set aside.
  • Combine sugar and 1 cup butter in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs; continue beating until well mixed. Add sour cream, orange juice and orange zest; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda; beat at low speed until well mixed. Gently stir in nuts.
  • Divide batter evenly among prepared pans. Bake 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes; remove from pans. Cool completely.
  • Combine 1/2 cup butter, powdered sugar and marmalade in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Cover; refrigerate until serving time.
