2 cups bran buds
2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
1/4 cup flax seed
1 cup mini chocolate chip
3/4 cup dried cherries
3/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Mix first seven ingredients in large bowl.
  • Bring remaining ingredients to boil on medium heat.
  • Mix honey mixture into oat mixture until well coated.
  • Place 1 sheet wax paper into 9 by 13 pan.
  • Dump mixture into pan.
  • Place 2nd sheet wax paper over mixture and press flat into the pan.
  • Cut into bars when cooled.
