Being landlocked in the Midwest, my kids always thought they disliked fish. This air-fryer salmon dish definitely changed their minds! I cook it on the grill a lot during the summer months but found that it is just as tasty and more convenient in the air fryer, especially on busy days! —Jill Fisher, Portland, Indiana

3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 medium lemon (juiced)
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 salmon fillets (4 ounces each)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400&deg., In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add maple syrup, mustard, lemon juice and minced garlic. Reduce heat and simmer until mixture thickens slightly, 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside., Drizzle olive oil over salmon; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place fish in a single layer in air-fryer basket. Cook until fish is lightly browned and just beginning to flake easily with a fork, 5-7 minutes. Drizzle with sauce right before serving.

Where are all donut lovers? They are my absolute favorite! I do not know if it is their fluffy texture or the amount of variety, but I have always loved them. I have gone through phases in regards to flavors. There was a time when I preferred donuts filled with custard, another with marmalade, but right now I am a fan of maple donuts. Is anyone else as obsessed as me?

1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup pure maple syrup1
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
optional: 1/2 teaspoon maple extract

Steps:

  • Step 1
  • Melt the butter and maple syrup together over medium heat in a small saucepan. Occasionally, give it a stir.
  • Step 2
  • Take away from the heat and add in the powdered sugar, whisking it vigorously.
  • Step 3
  • Taste it. If you would like a stronger maple flavor, add in the maple extract. Set it aside to cool and thicken! Use it once your donuts are also cool.
