ICE CUBE TRAY CHOCOLATE TREATS RECIPE | MYRECIPES
This genius technique allows you to make rich and delicious homemade chocolates with minimal mess and ingredients. In fact, making these ice cube tray candies is so easy, it’s a great rainy day kitchen project for the kids to take charge on. Use this recipe as your guide, but feel free to customize the candy as you see fit. There’s plenty of room for creativity with your chocolates’ fillings, and you can swap the milk chocolate chips for white chocolate if you prefer. Any type of ice cube tray will do here, so you may want to grab a few inexpensive ones from a dollar store specifically for chocolate making.

Yield Serves 8 (serving size: 2 pieces)
Number Of Ingredients 6
Steps:
- Combine half of the chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of the coconut oil in a microwavable bowl; microwave, stirring every 20 to 30 seconds until smooth, about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes total. Divide chocolate mixture among 16 molds of the ice cube tray. Use a small brush or the end of a knife to spread mixture evenly in each mold. Freeze 3 minutes.
- Divide peanut butter (and/or raspberries, rice cereal, caramel) among chocolate cube bases. Repeat process of melting remaining chips and oil; pour over each filling. Freeze 20 minutes. Release treats from ice tray, and enjoy. Store in a plastic bag or container in refrigerator up to 5 days.
