I had a special request to make something gluten free, and I had no idea how easy it was to make your own chocolate chips. Wow. I love this. Serving size is estimated. Recipe courtesy of thecoconutmama.com.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup cocoa butter or 1 cup coconut oil
1 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup raw honey or 1/3 cup maple syrup
3 teaspoons vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Gently heat all ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat. Mix until ingredients are combined and chocolate sauce is smooth.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Pour chocolate over parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Place cookie sheet in freezer. Freeze for 2 to 3 hours or until chocolate is completely hard.
  • Remove chocolate from freezer and break it into chunks. You can use your hands. Then chop chocolate into small chocolate chip size pieces.
  • Store chocolate chips in freezer. These can be used just like store bought chocolate chips.

300 grams chocolate tulip
50 grams fruty sereal
30 grams almond nuts
50 grams cashew nuts

Steps:

  • Step 1. Prepare materials -materials that are needed. Cut the chocolate into smaller ones so you can easily melt
  • Step 2. Heat the chocolate until melted and liquid then lift from the pan
  • Step 3. Combine almonds, cashew and cereal and stir in chocolate until evenly
  • Step 4. Put in the fridge until the mold and re-freezes brown, serve with strawberry jam

  • Crush the candy canes (if they aren’t already crushed). Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the chocolate out on the parchment in a thin, even layer. Using a large, offset spatula works well, if you have one. Put the pan in a cool place for about 10 minutes or until the chocolate is completely firm, either in the refrigerator or outside, if it’s chilly. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate the same way, using 30-40 second intervals and stirring after each. Stir in the peppermint essential oil.
    Spread the white chocolate over the milk chocolate quickly and then sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the top. You’ll want to do these steps quickly because the cooled milk chocolate will make the white chocolate firm up quickly. You’ll want the white chocolate wet when you put the crushed candy canes on it so they’ll stick better. Let the white chocolate firm up completely (you can put the pan back in the fridge if you like) and then break it up into big pieces. The bark is ready to eat immediately or you can package it up to give away. Store it in a covered container and keep it away from heat.
