2 teaspoons butter
2 slices white bread
1 teaspoon peanut butter
2 teaspoons any flavor fruit jelly

Steps:

  • Heat griddle or skillet to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Spread peanut butter on unbuttered side of one slice of bread, and jelly on the other. Place one slice, buttered side down on the griddle. Top with other slice, so that peanut butter and jelly are in the middle. Cook for 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown, and heated through.

8 slices hearty wheat sandwich bread
8 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
4 tablespoons jelly or jam
8 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread

Steps:

  • For each sandwich, spread 2 tablespoons peanut butter onto 1 slice of bread. Spread 1 tablespoon jelly onto another slice of bread. Place on top of peanut butter, jelly-side down. Spread 1 teaspoon butter onto outside of each slice of bread.
  • Heat 12-inch skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  • Place 2 sandwiches into skillet. Cook, turning once, 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and peanut butter is melted. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
