Sweet meets savory in this deliciously stacked sandwich.

1 quart (4 cups) canola oil
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers Original Biscuits (8 Count)
8 slices bacon
8 slices American cheese
8 eggs
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons warm water

Steps:

  • In shallow large saucepan or skillet, heat oil to 375°F. Heat oven to 350°F. Line plate with paper towels; set aside.
  • Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Punch 1-inch hole in center of each biscuit.
  • Carefully drop biscuits into hot oil. (You may have to do this in two stages depending on the size of your pan.) Fry biscuits on one side for 1 minute 30 seconds. Using tongs, flip biscuits over; fry 1 minute 30 seconds longer. Transfer biscuits to plate; cool.
  • Arrange bacon slices on ungreased cookie sheet; bake 10 minutes. Set aside.
  • Meanwhile, heat 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook individual eggs to your liking, transferring to a plate after cooking.
  • To make each sandwich, split each biscuit. Place 1 egg on bottom half of biscuit; cover with 1 cheese slice. Half each slice of bacon; arrange 2 halves on top of cheese.
  • In small bowl, stir together powdered sugar and warm water with whisk until smooth. Cover each sandwich with top half of biscuit. Using pastry brush, glaze top with powdered sugar mixture. Serve immediately.

1 glazed donut
slice of butter
boursin cheese
strawberry jam
half of an avocado
2 slices roma tomato
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 tablespoon minced shallot
1 oz sliced canadian bacon
1 egg
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat pan and add butter.
  • While the butter is melting, cut the donut in half and spread boursin cheese on one side and jam on the other.
  • Spread sliced avocado and tomato on top of the cheese.
  • Add the onion and shallot to the pan and cook until translucent. Then add the canadian bacon.
  • Once the the bacon is slightly crisp, add an egg and fry topping with salt and pepper.
  • When the egg is flipped and cooked to medium.
  • Place egg on top of tomato, put the other half donut on top- ta da!

  • Preheat oven to 350° and grease donut pan with cooking spray. (Don't forget the centers where the donut hole is!) In a large bowl, whisk to combine almond flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, cream, eggs, and vanilla. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined. Fill each donut mold 3/4 of the way full with batter.  Bake until donuts are golden in color and pulling away from sides of the pan, 15 minutes. Let cool completely in pan before removing. Meanwhile, make chocolate glaze: Sift powdered sugar and cocoa powder together into a large bowl. Add water and vanilla and whisk until smooth.  Fit a cooking wrack into a medium sheet tray, then flip cooled donuts out onto cooling wrack. Pour glaze over donuts and let set 10 minutes before serving.
