Steps:

  • Bring 8 cups water and 1 cup thinly sliced unpeeled ginger to a simmer in a saucepan; simmer until reduced to 5 cups, about 25 minutes. Sweeten with 1/4 cup honey and divide among mugs (strain, if desired). Dust with cinnamon.

3 lemons, peeled
½ cup water, plus more when serving
? cup chopped fresh ginger
2 tablespoons honey
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Process lemons, water, and ginger in a blender on high until well blended and frothy, about 2 minutes. Pour mixture through a mesh strainer into a clean jar or container; discard solids. Stir in honey and cayenne. To serve, stir 1 oz. ginger-lemon shot with 1 oz. water, and shoot!
