1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Place shallots in 8-inch square baking dish. Drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with remaining ingredients. Roast shallots at 400° for 20 minutes or until crispy and lightly browned, turning occasionally.

Steps:

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir in the shallots. Gradually whisk in the oil to make a smooth dressing. Use immediately or store covered, in the refrigerator, for up to a week.
