45 ml Rum - White/gold 1-3 year old mellow light
20 ml Vermouth - Dry
15 ml Vermouth - Bianco
10 ml Orange Curaçao liqueur
5 ml Vermouth - Rosso/rouge (sweet) vermouth
2.5 ml Grenadine/pomegranate syrup
4 Daiquiri bitters (optional)

Steps:

  • STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into chilled glass

1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1/2 cup superfine sugar
1 1/2 ounces white rum
1/2 ounce orange Curacao
3/4 ounce French (dry white) vermouth
Orange-peel twist, for garnish

Steps:

  • Make grenadine by combining the pomegranate juice with the superfine sugar in a jar. Shake until the sugar dissolves. (This will keep in the refrigerator for about a month.)
  • In a mixing glass, combine rum, Curacao, French vermouth and a dash of grenadine. Fill mixing glass 2/3 full of ice, and stir gently. Using a fine mesh strainer, pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
