Chilly days, hot drinks. Warming up with a little spiced cider sounds like a good plan to us. A little of spice, a little zest, a lot of cozy. Keep warm this winter with spiced hot apple cider.

Ingredients

Steps:

Combine cinnamon, nutmeg, orange zest, cloves and cider/juice into pot or slow cooker and simmer and stir together for 15-30 minutes. Carefully strain out and toss the solids. Keep the liquid hot. In a mug, combine 2 oz Crown Royal Apple with 4 oz. your Hot Spiced Apple Mix. Garnish with an orange twist.

Steps:

Fill a glass with ice cubes.
Pour 1 shot of Crown Royal Apple over the ice.
Top with apple cider.
Garnish the drink with apple slices on the rim. (We used a toothpick to fan out the slices.)
