SOY MILK WITH SOY BEANS AND LOTUS SEEDS RECIPE - SIMPLE ...
In the past, I always thought that the bean dregs left over from making soy milk was very wasteful, so I thought of a lot of ways to eat the bean dregs, but no matter how you eat it, I can’t help making soy milk every day! Since I have this new soymilk machine, the trouble is gone, because this soymilk machine adopts wall-breaking technology, the prepared soymilk tastes fine and fragrant, and this soymilk machine can also be controlled by smart wifi, just use a mobile phone. You can control your soymilk at any time, and it also comes with an appointment function. You can sleep more in the morning. Make an appointment the night before. You can drink the fragrant soymilk the next day. How beautiful is it! You can also set whether to drink warm or hot. It’s so considerate. Today I made soy milk with soy and lotus seeds. By the way, this soymilk maker can also make soy milk with dried beans, which solves the trouble of sometimes wanting to drink soy milk and forgetting to soak the beans. For the sake of nutrition, I also put two jujubes, which taste good, and the okara is really very, very delicate. If you don't really taste it, I don't believe that soy milk without okara can be so delicious.

  • To Prepare Blend the soybeans in a blender with some water until nicely blended. Pour the blended soybeans into a large pot with 2L of water. Boil the mixture on medium heat. Stir often so no soybeans harden at the bottom of the pot. When the mixture has boiled, bring the heat down to medium low and let it simmer for about 40 mins. After the 40 mins, the solution needs to be filtered using a filter such as a coffee filter, a cheese cloth or a tea pouch. Squeeze the residue to get the most milk out possible. To drink, add sugar till it has the desired taste.

HOMEMADE SOY MILK RECIPE RECIPE | EPICURIOUS

  • NOTE: Don't discard the crumbly soft lees from the pressing cloth after you've wring out all the soy milk! What you may consider the dregs is a valuable food source. Called dou fu zha or xue hua cai, okara, and biji in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean, respectively, the lees are loaded with dietary fiber and nutrients. The lees can be refrigerated for up to 1 week or frozen for several months; thaw it at room temperature or in the refrigerator before using. Add some to a Korean hot pot, and you'll thicken it into a creamy chowderlike consistency. Season and sauté them with vegetables for unohana, an old-fashioned Japanese favorite. Or bake cookies or make doughnuts with okara for a modern hybrid twist. Lees can also be used as a meat extender for dishes from many different cuisines.
