We loved the mix of flavors and ingredients in this crescent breakfast cup recipe... A terrific finger food for breakfast or brunch!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 package(s) refrigerated crescent rolls
3 - eggs
2 tablespoon(s) cream, half n half or milk
5 slice(s) cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese (or Monterey Jack)
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- cooking spray
2 tablespoon(s) melted butter
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder

Steps:

  • Spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray. Mine has 24 cups.
  • Open crescent dough and pull off enough to fit in the tin. Press up sides to form a cup of dough in each. In a small dish mix melted butter and garlic powder. Lightly brush this inside the crescent cups.
  • In a bowl, beat eggs with cream, salt, pepper, and cheese.
  • Sprinkle bacon in the bottom of each cup.
  • Spoon about 1 tablespoon of egg mixture into each cup.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes on 375. Then enjoy!

6 slices bacon
1 (8-oz.) can crescent dough
Cooking spray, for pan
4 large eggs, beaten
1 c. shredded white cheddar
1 c. ricotta cheese
1 c. finely chopped chives
Kosher Salt
Pinch cayenne

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, 8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain, then chop into small pieces. Grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray. On a lightly floured surface, roll out crescent dough, and pinch seams together. Cut into 24 squares. Place squares into muffin tin slots. In a large bowl, combine eggs, cooked bacon, cheddar, ricotta and chives, then season with salt and pepper. Spoon mixture into crescent cups. Bake until crescent is golden and eggs are cooked through, about 15 minutes.
