Braised beef and bean curd recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

My child loves to eat braised beef. He can kill the meat from a catty of beef alone. Today, the braised meat is marinated with tofu skin. It tastes quite good and it is suitable for wine.

230 grams beef
1 piece Bean curd
several chili
1 scoop salt
Right amount ginger
1 scoop Cooking wine
2 pcs star anise
1 small piece Cinnamon
3 slices Bay leaf
40ML Soy sauce

Steps:

  • Prepare the beef.
  • Prepare chili, star anise, pepper, cinnamon and bay leaves.
  • Add water to the pot.
  • Add cooking wine, ginger slices and salt.
  • Add beef.
  • Add spices.
  • Cover and cook for 1 hour.
  • Flip up.
  • Prepare the bean curd.
  • Add the tofu skin into the pot and marinate together.
  • Continue to cook for another half an hour.
  • After the brine is finished, soak again.
  • Take it out and cut into pieces when you eat.
