Number Of Ingredients 6

15 oz Bag or canned tuna  (drained)
1 cup Coconut flour
1 tbsp Olive oil (extra light)
1 tbsp Dried catnip
1 Egg
1-2 tbsp Water  (add more water if you want the dough a bit stickier)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Combine drained tuna, egg, coconut flour, water, olive oil, and catnip. Blend in a food processor until mixture is smooth and completely combined.
  • The mixture is different than normal dough. It is not very sticky and is a bit powdery.
  • Pinch or roll pieces of the dough into "croutons" and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake cookies for 12 - 15 minutes until they are dried on top and browned. It's okay for them to be slightly burned, you want them crunchy!
  • Allow cooling completely.
  • These will store in your fridge for about a week. Since they contain egg and tuna, you shouldn't keep them longer than that. Store in an airtight container.
  • Enjoy!

2 tablespoons olive oil
3 lbs chicken, cut into 8 pieces
1/4 cup minced onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 bay leaves
salt and pepper
1 cup dry red wine
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 teaspoons paprika
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup green olives, pitted
minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Heat oil in heavy, large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Pat chicken dry.
  • Add to skillet and brown well on all sides.
  • Add onion, garlic, bay leaves and season to taste.
  • Cook 2 minutes.
  • Pour in wine and cook until evaporated.
  • Blend in tomato paste and paprika.
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Add broth; cover and cook 15 minutes.
  • Add olives and cook until chicken is tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley.
  • Great served with egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
