SOURDOUGH SPROUTED FLOUR CORN BREAD RECIPE



Sourdough Sprouted Flour Corn Bread Recipe image

Provided by admin

Number Of Ingredients 40

3/4 cup
sprouted corn flour
3/4 cup
sprouted wheat flour
1 tsp.
salt
1/2 tsp.
baking powder
1/2 tsp.
baking soda
1 cup
fresh sourdough starter
1 cup
milk, cultured buttermilk, or coconut milk
2
eggs
2 Tbsp.
grade B maple syrup
1/4 cup
melted butter or ghee

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Combine flours, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • In another bowl combine sourdough starter, milk, eggs, and maple syrup. Stir well; add melted butter, and stir again.
  • Pour wet ingredients over dry and mix just until thoroughly moistened.
  • Pour batter into a 2-quart buttered glass baking dish.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown, and a toothpick inserted in center of bread comes out clean.
  • Serve piping hot.
